FWIW I used to be recently advised by them which they use Magnum primers in any magnum marked scenario (.357 cases as an example ) whatever the powder being used....even quite light-weight loads with simple to gentle fast powders. When asked about that he just replied " If it is a magnum circumstance we use magnum primers."

For exclusively shotshell use I might treat Earn. 244 as though it is a great deal speedier in relative burn up level than is observed for it's placement in Hodgdon Relative Melt away Fee Chart.

Why use racing fuel to putter all around city? I haven't owned a 38/357 for decades, so haven't any real tips for an acceptable powder apart from potentially Unique inside the Exclusive case, but with each of the makes & here grades out there these days you can find possible much better choices for far more ability.
Because it is a ball powder, it functions exact metering. And While using the WinClean additive, this powder is cleaner burning and minimizes copper fouling.
I had observed that it was a slightly modified 231 (which is also a wonder they have not produced shotshell details for that powder in addition.)
